What is a notary public?
A notary public is a person commissioned to serve the public as a neutral witness. A notary performs notarial acts that are allowed or required by law. A notary is a verifier, an authenticator, an impartial agent for the state, a public recorder of acts, and an unbiased, official witness.
What are the payment methods you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, Stripe, Square, and Venmo.
What fees can a notary legally charge?
Per the Ohio Secretary of State, we charge $5 per notarization. Mobile travel fees apply and will be determined by location of signing.
What forms of ID are acceptable?
Mobile notaries accept a variety of documents. A current driver's license, passport, non-driver's ID or military ID is always acceptable. Note: Only U.S. issued identifications are acceptable forms of ID.
What is a signing agent?
A Notary Signing Agent is a Notary who has been trained to handle loan documents. Lenders and title companies hire Signing Agents to assist in the last step of the loan process.
Will you come to me?
Of course! We are a mobile notary service provider. We can and will meet you anywhere of your choosing.
Does notarization mean that a document is "legal" or "true"?
No. Notaries are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of documents they notarize. Notaries certify the identity of signers. The signers are responsible for the content of the documents.
Please note — You must have a valid US State ID/Driver's License, or a Passport to complete a Remote Online Notarization. Please call, text, or email for more information!
