What fees can a notary legally charge?

Per the Ohio Secretary of State, we charge $5 per notarization. Mobile travel fees apply and will be determined by location of signing.

Mobile notaries accept a variety of documents. A current driver's license, passport, non-driver's ID or military ID is always acceptable. Note: Only U.S. issued identifications are acceptable forms of ID.

What is a signing agent?

Does notarization mean that a document is "legal" or "true"?

No. Notaries are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of documents they notarize. Notaries certify the identity of signers. The signers are responsible for the content of the documents.
